Suela Niosi
Suela is an Italian artist who lives and works in Messina. She was born in Sciacca, a charming Sicilian town overlooking the Mediterranean sea, in 1993.
During her childhood, she showed a marked interest in art and spent most of her time painting and drawing.
After the classical education, she moved to Messina to continue her studies: In this city, her artistic talent takes more and more space in her life, until she is noticed by specialists in the field.
As a self-taught artist, she studies and improves herself by trying new techniques and styles, but she remains faithful to watercolors and watercolor pencils, which she uses widely to create her artworks.
From 2014 to 2017 he frescoed the Catholic Church of Santa Barbara, of the Italian Navy in Messina; she created various illustrations and works for public and in 2018 she won an international competition organized by the German company Faber-Castell and her drawing was chosen to decorate the limited edition pack of professional watercolor pencils of the brand.
She participates in various local exhibitions and for the realization of her works Suela get inspired by the sea that bathes her beloved Sicily.

I love the quality of the materials and the possibility of choosing among versatile tools, which can be used with different techniques.
