Tiziana Gironi

Tiziana Gironi was born, lives and works in Bologna.
After graduation, she specialized in the "Anatomical Design High School of the University of Medicine and Surgery of the University of Bologna" and for some years she created anatomical tables for publishing specialized in medical-scientific publications.
She has designed for the ceramic industry and has published children's books with various Italian and foreign publishers.
She dedicated herself to naturalistic illustration and for over twenty years she has been creating her watercolors for the Villa Ghigi Foundation (Center for the conservation of nature, the defense of the environment and the teaching of natural sciences).
Since 2008 she has dedicated herself to miniature and teaching.
She miniatured specimens for FMR - Fondazione Marilena Ferrari including the "Deus Caritas Est" of the Holy Father Benedict XII and made the miniatures on the manual transcription of the National Anthems "In memory of Italy of Beauty" that the Presidency of the Italian Council of Ministers has donated to statesmen who attended the G8 Summit in L'Aquila.

I used the PRECISO TOP GRAPHIC brushes and I appreciated the precision of the sign in the details that is usually obtained only by painting with expensive sable brushes.
