Description

Simple thickness mottler with medium-long black ox hair, short red-lacquered handle and nickel-plated iron ferrule.

The black ox hair is characterised by an extreme softness and a good water release and colour absorbency. Thanks to its low elasticity and thin hair, it is ideal for a light application without strokes, for watercolours, acrylics, gouache and professional paints.

Series 206 is characterised by a medium-long brush head with a flat tip, ideal for wide-ranging brush strokes and for water and solvent paints without leaving strokes. When pressure is applied, it creates a rectangular form.

The brushstroke is soft and light, being much appreciated by students and oil painters, as well as by professional painters and luthiers. The handle is traditional and short, balanced and light, being very manageable and suitable for precise details and on horizontal work surfaces. The line is full and light, soft and medium-long.

THE LINE If used on its narrow side, the line is fine, of medium length and – if pressure is applied – leaves strokes of a broad rectangle shape.
