Description

Simple thickness mottler brush with Kolinsky sable hair, earth-red lacquered wooden handle with gold tip and stainless-steel ferrule.

The precious Kolinsky sable hair is ideal for watercolours and extremely diluted techniques such as oil glazes and gouache. The natural hair has an extreme colour absorbency with a slow and homogeneous release, for a continuous and light brushstroke. Perfect for fine painting, gilding, preparation of watercolour bases, gouache and decorations without any thickness.

Series 204 is characterised by soft and light brushstrokes, being well defined without leaving any trace, with a medium-long filament. Wide with a slow release of water and colour yet thin when used on its narrow side, the short handle is easy to manage whilst the steel ferrule is resistant to oxidation that occurs with long soaks in water or solvents. The handle is traditional and light, with gold at the back.

Packaged with the special flat tube for protecting the tip.

THE BRUSHSTROKE

Wide and light, it leaves no strokes in the painting material. When pressure is applied, it creates a defined rectangular form.
